An organized and proactive procurement professional responsible for supporting procurement operations, vendor coordination, logistics planning, and supply chain activities for ongoing marine and shipyard projects. The role requires close coordination with the Bhavnagar Operations Team to ensure timely sourcing, purchase execution, material movement, and documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation ability, and the capability to manage multiple procurement activities while ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and compliance with company procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement and Vendor Development Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors, suppliers, and service providers across Ahmedabad and nearby regions. Support vendor registration, qualification, and performance evaluation processes. Obtain quotations, compare commercial offers, and assist in selecting suitable suppliers. Maintain an accurate vendor database and continuously expand sourcing channels. Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and dependable service. 2. Inter-Office Coordination Coordinate daily procurement requirements with the Procurement Executive and Bhavnagar Operations Team. Share timely updates on procurement status, vendor progress, delivery schedules, and material availability. Facilitate coordination among project, engineering, administration, stores, and finance teams. 4. Material Planning & Resource Development Support identification of new sourcing opportunities for materials, equipment, consumables, and project services. Research local markets to identify cost-effective procurement solutions. Assist in sourcing specialized products and services required for marine and shipyard operations.
