Retail Sales Person / Shop Assistant

The Finest Bookstore and Stationery is looking for a friendly and motivated Salesperson to join our team in Sholinganallur, Chennai. Responsibilities • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist them in finding books or stationery, and offer helpful recommendations. • Store Operations: Manage the billing counter, handle cash/digital payments accurately, and issue receipts. • Inventory Management: Arrange books and stationery neatly on shelves, keep track of fast-moving items, and help restock displays. • Shop Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the store. Qualifications & Skills • Education: Minimum 12th pass or Graduate (preferred). • Languages: Fluent in Tamil; basic working knowledge of English to assist diverse customers along the OMR corridor. • Skills: Strong communication skills, basic math for cash handling, and a polite, patient attitude. • Experience: Prior experience in retail sales or bookstore environments is a plus, but freshers with a passion to learn are welcome to apply.
