Frontend Developer (React / Next.js / Node.js)

Role Description: The Frontend Developer (React / Next.js / Node.js) contract role is responsible for building and maintaining modern, user-friendly web interfaces. In this remote position, the developer will implement responsive UI components using React and Next.js, collaborate with designers and backend engineers, and integrate frontend features with Node.js APIs. Daily tasks include translating design mockups into clean, efficient code, optimizing performance and accessibility, resolving bugs, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves working with stakeholders to refine requirements, ensuring consistent user experiences across devices and browsers, and contributing to best practices in frontend architecture and documentation. Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. Candidates should possess Web Development skills, including building scalable web applications, working with RESTful APIs, and integrating frontend and backend services. Candidates should possess Responsive Web Design skills, including mobile-first development, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility best practices. Candidates should possess Software Development and Back-End Web Development fundamentals, including familiarity with Node.js, version control (Git), and debugging tools. Practical experience with UI/UX collaboration, component libraries, and performance optimization for production-grade applications. Ability to work independently in a remote, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with distributed teams. Relevant education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience; prior experience in similar frontend roles is highly beneficial. 3+ years of experience and good communication skills.
