Job description: ROLE CLARITY DOCUMENT DESIGNATION - Plant Care Executive Role Definition The Plant Care Executive is responsible for maintaining plant health, beautifying the store environment, and supporting plant sales through proper plant preparation, display, and maintenance. The role ensures plants are healthy, visually appealing, and properly managed as a commercial asset for the store. Core Responsibility Areas 1,Planter Nation Operations (Morning Priority Task – 2 to 3 Hours Daily) Objective Ensure proper procurement, preparation, display, and maintenance of plants for sales and visual enhancement. Deliverables · Coordinate plant purchase with vendors. · Verify plant quality before acceptance. · Maintain updated plant and pot stock records. · Perform potting, soil filling, and display preparation. · Ensure correct pricing tags and care cards are placed. · Arrange plants attractively in the sales section. · Monitor plant health and initiate timely replacements. · Maintain hygiene of plant display area. 2, Advanced Plant Care & Maintenance Objective Ensure healthy plant growth and proper maintenance of mother plants and sale plants. Key Activities · Fertilize plants based on soil media and plant type. · Follow a fertilizer time-chart for different plants. · Re pot, prune, and propagate mother plants when required. · Perform deadheading and dusting of plants. · Prepare soil media for potting using proper mix. · Guide plant care workers in daily maintenance. 3, Plant Development & Business Support Objective Support plant sales and development activities. Key Activities · Create purchase orders for operational and sales needs. · Get PO approval and coordinate with vendors. · Assist walk-in customers in selecting plants. · Explain plant care and product details to customers. · Prepare quotations for client requirements. · Visit architects or new construction sites for project opportunities. · Conduct AMC site visits and prepare documents. 4, Ornamental Creation & Display Objective Create attractive plant products and maintain creative displays. Key Activities · Create dish gardens and plant gift arrangements. · Use creativity or references for decorative plant designs. · Maintain neat workplace and organized tools. · Coordinate with team for next-day operations. · Submit closing report at the end of the day. 5, Aesthetic & Facility Appearance Objective Maintain outlet visual standards and entry appeal.
