Mold Maker / Tool & Die Maker

• Fabrication & Construction: Build new molds, die-casting tools, and metal stamping components according to strict engineering drawings and specifications. • Machine Operation: Set up and safely operate a variety of toolroom equipment, including manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and wire EDM systems. • Maintenance & Repair: Disassemble, clean, inspect, and troubleshoot malfunctioning mold tooling to resolve production line issues and ensure optimal performance. • Blueprint & CAD Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret mechanical blueprints, 3D CAD models, and customer-supplied schematic files. • Quality Control: Conduct thorough dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, dial calipers, pin gauges) to verify strict tolerance compliance. • Collaboration & Testing: Work with design engineers to evaluate mold feasibility, create prototype fixtures, and fine-tune molds based on testing and validation outcomes.
