Interior Designer

We are looking for a creative and responsible Interior Designer / Interior Design Intern to join our team on a flexible work-from-home basis. The role will involve working on residential interior projects, preparing technical drawings, developing 3D designs, coordinating on calls, and visiting project sites whenever required. We believe in work completion and deadlines rather than fixed working hours. You will have flexibility in managing your time, provided the assigned work is completed within the agreed timelines. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D working drawings and furniture drawings. Develop 3D interior designs and realistic visualizations. Work on residential spaces including kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, wardrobes, etc. Prepare and modify designs based on client/project requirements. Coordinate with the design team through calls and online discussions. Attend in-person design discussions whenever required. Visit project sites approximately 1–2 times per week when required. Understand site conditions and incorporate them into drawings/designs. Coordinate design details with vendors/carpenters/contractors when required. Complete assigned drawings and design work within the given deadlines. Software Skills – Required AutoCAD – Good working knowledge of detailed drawings. SketchUp – Good 3D modelling skills. Enscape – Good knowledge of rendering and presentation. ChatGPT & AI Tools – Ability to effectively use AI tools for design development, research, ideation and improving workflow. Design & Technical Knowledge The ideal candidate should have: Good understanding of interior design principles. Strong sense of colour combinations, materials, textures and finishes. Good knowledge of modular furniture and kitchen design. Understanding of plywood, laminates, hardware and furniture construction details. Knowledge of kitchen technical details and dimensions. Ability to create practical, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. Good attention to detail in drawings and execution-related requirements.
