Date posted: April 16, 2026 Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Job description: Required Skills Solar Technician Company Name: Sunrise India Position: Solar Technician Location: As per project site requirement (BIHAR) Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Project Engineer / Site Supervisor About the Role Sunrise India is looking for a skilled and dedicated Solar Technician to support the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted solar power systems across project locations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality execution of site work, smooth system performance, and timely resolution of technical issues. Key Roles & Responsibilities Install solar PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, batteries, junction boxes, and associated electrical components. Execute DC and AC wiring as per approved drawing and electrical safety standards. Ensure proper earthing, lightning protection, cable dressing, and routing. Perform testing of voltage, current, insulation, inverter performance, and generation output. Support system commissioning, synchronization, and final handover. Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of installed solar systems. Perform routine cleaning and inspection of solar modules and structures. Maintain installation reports, service reports, maintenance checklists, and daily work logs. Attend customer complaints and provide on-site technical support. Required Skills Knowledge of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems Understanding of inverters, batteries, net metering, LT panels, and electrical systems Familiarity with multimeter, clamp meter, crimping tools, drilling machine, and installation tools Ability to read single-line diagrams and wiring drawings Good troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis capability Willingness to travel across project sites Educational Qualification ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or Solar Technician trade Certification in solar installation will be an added advantage Experience Required 0–2years of experience in solar installation, commissioning, or maintenance Compensation & Benefits Accommodation Travel allowance Site Expense Company Note At Sunrise India , we are committed to delivering quality solar solutions across India.
