Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Godown Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company’s warehouse or godown. This includes managing inventory levels, overseeing the receipt and dispatch of goods, coordinating with suppliers and customers, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities: • Manage the daily operations of the godown, including the receipt and dispatch of goods, inventory management, and coordination with suppliers and customers. • Supervise the godown staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures. • Develop and implement strategies to optimize godown operations, including improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer service. • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for inventory adjustments to ensure optimal stock levels. • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. • Maintain accurate records of all godown transactions, including receipts, dispatches, and inventory levels. • Prepare and submit regular reports on godown operations to management.
