“While the Budget suggests employment opportunities for youth in tourism, footwear, leather and textile industry, impetus on infrastructure and ease of doing business are aligned to the government’s vision of job creation especially in the manufacturing sector,” TeamLease Co-Founder & EVP Rituparna Chakraborty said.
The Union budget proposed to relax corporate taxation in small medium enterprises, which is also considered as the one of the largest employee driven market from Tier II and Tier III metro cities and will give a boost to unorganised employment sector.
Moreover, relaxation in individual income tax (for income up to Rs 5 lakh) will boost consumer buying power and would strongly impact consumer driven product and services industries.
According to experts, this will increase employment by at least 5-10 per cent which has been slow in last one quarter.
“Investment focus on infrastructure, including roads, highways and airport, is also going to boost employment in the sector,” leading executive search firm GlobalHunt MD Sunil Goel said.
The focus on digital payments industry is also expected to encourage job creation.
“Formation of independent Payment Regulatory Body under the RBI and various tax benefits on payment capital infrastructure as well as transactions are highly encouraging for the Payment Industry,” Suvidhaa Infoserve Founder & CEO Paresh Rajde said.
Moreover, the provisions announced with reference to the startup ecosystem are encouraging.
“The provision to allow MAT credit to be carried forward from 10 years to 15 years is a good move. They will also be allowed to seek tax exemption for 3 years out of 7 years instead of 5 years which gives more flexibility. The lower rate of corporate tax for turnover up to Rs 50 crores, FIPB being abolished, and easier FDI is also positive,” Anand Desai, President TiE Mumbai said.
However, Joseph Devasia, Managing Director, Antal International India said, “From a job creation perspective, I could not find anything of interest, while the lower income group may keep more money in their pockets. I can only sum it up in – disappointed. Job creation was supposed to be the next big need for the country.”

The survey said information technology decision-makers expect permanent remote work to double to 34.4% of their companies’ workforces in 2021, compared with 16.4% before the coronavirus outbreak, a result of positive productivity trends.
About 72% of their companies’ total global workforce is currently working remotely, according to the CIOs.
Of the more than 1,000 CIOs interviewed for the survey, 48.6% reported that productivity has improved since workers began working remotely, with only 28.7% of respondents indicating a decline in productivity.
IT divisions in telecommunications, financials and the insurance sector reported large productivity boosts, whereas there has not been much benefit in energy, utilities, and education sectors.
“The productivity metric is proving that remote work is working,” Erik Bradley, chief engagement strategist at ETR, told Reuters in an interview.
“So we all thought that there would be some increase in permanent remote work, but we didn’t expect that to double from pre-pandemic levels. There would be huge ramifications of this in a lot of areas, whether that is real estate, retail, restaurant or transportation.”
The survey also showed that more CIOs were upbeat about next year’s outlook. They are optimistic that IT budgets will increase , that they can reduce hiring freezes, and that they will be able to start doing IT projects again and flat for rent in noida sector 104.

Gopal Roy, Labor and Employment Minister of Delhi Government, told that the state government is organizing Job Fair in Faith Nagar, Delhi between July 11 and 15. What I’ve noticed is that students who have got access can engage and receive an education, but those who haven’t, for whatever reason, won’t benefit at all. When I say they have access, what I mean is that they either have devices, or opportunities to engage in tech resources, or they have the infrastructure, like broadband. Many schools think, OK, that family’s got a laptop… well, actually that family’s got a laptop, and it’s a very old laptop, and it doesn’t support the software the school is using. I think that something good will come out of this – good opportunities and creative opportunities. And it’s really important we don’t go back to how it was before. We should use this time – this reset time – to really look, review and change – and gain a good understanding of what we want our futures to be like in our countries.
It’s fascinating to look at the jobs that are now considered to be important or to have really helped to save lives − the nurses on the frontline, the delivery workers, the people who we can’t live without. I think there will now be conversations around what jobs we actually need and how much we should really pay to particular employees and in particular areas.
If anything, I hope this pandemic has helped to raise the profile of teachers, helped countries and ministries of education to acknowledge how hard we work, and shown how we are committed to our young people. I mean, teachers… we’re the ones who are creating the futures of any country. I really hope a lot of lessons have been learned.

Creativity should be embedded into absolutely every aspect of our curriculums. At all ages. The beauty of having a creative curriculum and teaching creativity is that what you’re actually doing is giving your learners transferable skills. And that means that we’re giving them the opportunity to succeed. If we’re not doing that, then we’re just failing them.
We’re talking about resilience and collaboration − this is what they need in order to thrive in absolutely any profession they choose. According to Professor Bill Lucas [a professor of learning and director of the Centre for Real-World Learning], creativity is all about finding opportunities to collaborate – engaging with conversation, sharing ideas, sharing products. There’s also the aspect of discipline, and discipline is all about mastering a technique, trying again, not letting them give up and making sure that they commit to this journey and that they see it through. And for young people, that’s the hardest − persistence is the absolute hardest. But once you’ve cracked that you’re onto a winner.
What we have learned from the pandemic is that the people who succeed are the ones who are creative, the ones who are thinking up new ideas, the ones who are questioning the status quo, the ones who are solution-focused, and the ones who are resilient. If I were to have a magic wand, I would make sure to encourage everyone in powerful positions just to stop and review. I consider truth to be a paradox.
I am an idealistic individual and for me, the truth is as precise as mathematics answer to a question. There is one truth in today’s world gets diluted and undiluted to prevent it from coming out, I believe that honesty is a top-ranked ideal and achieving it gets more and more difficult each year due to the increasing complexity of life. It is certainly undeniably very hard to maintain in the thousands of words that come out of our mouths each day but it is something that can be achieved.
The truth doesn’t exist, there are only different points of view. We cannot define truth as any one thing because we cannot know whether it is actually valid or not. If we say that facts are the truth, then we’ll hear contradicting facts tomorrow, then what remains of the truth? It all comes down to what we define as “truth”, the definition of truth per say has faded into a gray area, it has become distorted over the years. There is a personal truth and a (supposed) collective truth but those are always changing. Now with the introduction of alternative facts and fake news, the idea of truth becomes even more complicated, it becomes even more abstract. A lie can essentially just be called “an alternative fact” and the truth would just remain as “fake news”. Personally, I believe it is simpler to be untrue than to get into the complexities of truth itself. Maybe it has actually become easier, and better to lie perhaps.
